Hw: Poem handout. Monday practice quiz on DO/IO. Tuesday real quiz!

PORTFOLIO OPPORTUNITIES
If you are in the 9th grade class:  
* we will complete one of the oral presentation requirements, SLE A-2.   (Peer Interview)
* we will complete the narrative account, SLE A-2    (Birds story)
* we will complete the Night Essay, SLE A-2 (expository)
* the Fahrenheit "Ignorance-vs- Knowledge" essay, SLE A-2 (response to lit or reflective)
*the Essay  Response to Lit or Reflective:  A Separate Peace Essay



*as you can see your child will have AMPLE portfolio opportunities





If you are in the 11th grade Humanities:
-we  will complete a reflective "What is Art"  essay, SLE A-2.
-we will complete a choice of either an expository or a response to lit, or a relective, SLE A-2   (Odyssey paper)
-we will complete an ANTHEM essay which may be used as a response to lit or a reflective, both SLE 1-2
-we  will complete a Canterbury Tales creative essay. This can be considered either a narrative account, SLE A-2, OR a response to lit, SLE A-2.
-we will completed the common task research paper; it can be used under SLE A-1, "Research paper in the Humanities" OR as an Inquiry Based Project
