In concert with the Philosophy and Goals of the South Kingstown School Department and in keeping with the provisions of the Basic Education Program of the Rhode Island Board of Regents for Elementary and Secondary Education, it shall be the policy of the South Kingstown School Department that textbooks used in our schools be current and relevant exist in sufficient quantities to meet pupil needs and are in usable condition. The Superintendent of Schools is charged with the responsibility to develop administrative procedures to implement this policy.
